What is MUU TEA CAFE?
MUU TEA CAFE is a modern Nanyang café in Batu Pahat, Johor, focused on breakfast and everyday lunch. Its sourdough-based take on Nanyang breakfast draws on the familiar ritual of eggs and kopi or teh; the menu lists the items as individual choices.
Our story
We began with a simple question: can the Nanyang breakfast we know and love be made better for everyday? We kept kopi, eggs, toast and familiar Malaysian flavours, then started rethinking the excess.
Less oily. Less sweet. Better made. Still satisfying. Sourdough is one expression of that approach; we make familiar food for regular days, not diet food.
